9AM TO 10 AM - INTRODUCTION
Paul spends a little time getting to know you. He’ll share a little about his own frustrating journey this is where you get to share all your confusions, frustrations and the things you’d like to get from your course for the day!
10AM TO 11 AM - THE 10 MYTHS AROUND SINGING
Unfortunately, there is a LOT of information out there that is completely wrong when it comes to vocal technique.
In fact, it’s almost guaranteed that you are probably trying to apply some of them yourself and that is why your voice isn’t doing what you want it to.
Right out of the gates, Paul explains these traps, describes why they don’t work and shows you a much better way.
Within the first couple of hours, you’re already able to approach your voice in a whole new way!
11AM TO MIDDAY - DEEP TRAINING SESSION
First deep training session in explaining the mechanics of the voice.
You will learn…
What to do with the roof of the mouth to stop singing through the nose
Breathing - the biggest misconception in vocal training. (Watch the long video below, you’ll get a taste of this training).
And the best bit, you can ask all your questions in live time!!
MIDDAY TO 1PM - LUNCH
During your lunch break, you can stay on zoom and hang with all the other participants. Have engaging conversations, meet new contacts, talk about all things music!
1PM TO 3PM - DEEP TRAINING SESSION 2
In this session, you will learn about ranges, why they occur and how to navigate them like a pro.
What REALLY is the difference between chest and head voice?
Why your break occurs and how to eliminate it.
Is Falsetto the same as Head voice? And regardless, how can i sing high notes?
What is mix voice and why is it so hard to find?
Plus much more.
How to add power into the voice so that you can sing with energy and strength without straining.
By now, you’re really starting to get understanding and clarity around your technique!
3PM TO 5PM - WORKSHOP TIME
Let’s take everything we’ve covered and start applying it.
This is where you can get your own voice coached and will be left with a bunch of things to work on for months after the workshop.
Final questions are answered and all information is summarised and the day concludes around 5pm.
You will be left with more understanding and clarity around your instrument than ever before!
