WHAT GETS COVERED ON THE DAY?

10AM TO 10:30 AM - INTRODUCTION

This is where the day begins. We’ll go into why vocals may have been hard for you and discuss some some bad coaching that people still use today. Paul will open up the discussion by asking you what you would like to know from your training day. From this, he will tailor the training to the group!

10:30AM TO MIDDAY - THE VOICE, HOW IT WORKS

Paul begins to explain the voice in a whole new way in PLAIN ENGLISH. You’ll have all these AHHHHH moments as progressively breaks down the various components of your voice like what breathing is (and what it isn’t), how your voice works and why you break in the middle of your range. Plus much much more!

And along the way, whenever you’re stuck, you can ask your questions!

Within the first couple of hours, you’re already able to approach your voice in a whole new way!

MIDDAY TO 1PM - LUNCH

During your lunch break, you can hang with all the other participants. Have engaging conversations, meet new contacts, talk about all things music!

1PM TO 3PM - WE GO A LITTLE DEEPER

In this session, Paul will go into techniques that will really make a difference to your singing fast.

Things like..

  • How to add power, intensity and volume into the voice so that you can sing with energy and strength without straining.

  • How to add richness

  • How to release tension for real

  • How to eliminate your break once and for all

  • The elements of different styles and how to sing in them.

By now, you’re really starting to have a whole new vocal toolkit to work with!

3PM TO 5PM - WORKSHOP TIME

This part of the day is so fun and exciting! We get to work on your voice!

So if you have come to get some personal assessment, coaching and vocal development, this is your time to shine.

But if you’re a little more reserved, this is completely fine also. No judgements or requirements to sing. You can just enjoy others working away on their voice.

You will be left with more understanding and clarity around your instrument than ever before!
